The Old Man is Snoring

well today it rained. and it rained. and it rained. and its still raining! i was supposed to look at houses with my cousin who is looking to buy but they canceled till tomorrow cuz of the rain. its really raining hard. ive been in the house all day. when the rain lets up i think okay im getting out of this house. all i wanna do is go to blockbuster and return my movies. but as soon as i really get up, it starts pouring and thundering again. and so im a little afraid of lightning and thunder. therefore ive been in the house allll day long.

the only thing on tv is special regan reports which is so sad by the way and special weather updates. and the beeping sounds when the weather scrolls across the bottom of the screen is soo annoying.

regan was the 1st president i was ever aware of. i just found out that gerald ford was pres. when i was born, that makes me feel old. (and i only missed nixon by a year!) and jimmy carter was pres. after that. i don't even know anything about him at all. then next came regan. i liked him because he was the president. he seemed important to other people. i was only 6. no wonder i don't remember carter. but regan was pres. until i was 14. thats a big chunk of my life. i'm very sad now. he looked like a nice guy and he had a friendly smile. ive never denied the fact that im a dork. and im showing it right now arent i? yea well thats okay.

i went to the gym last night for the 1st time since summer started. i thought i was going to die. but i somehow survived. then we came home and i really thought the lakers were going to lose again. thats what i get for thinking.

then i showered even though i thought i was going to get electrocuted. geez it was even raining last night! then i read my book until 1:30. and i had a weird dream about turning my eggs. hehe i forgot to call christy and tell her about that.

ive been trying to wake up at 8:30 and get dressed and everything so that if i get called for an interview i won't have that sleepy voice and it won't take me two hours to get ready and go. but this morning the fone woke me up at 10 and i was so freaking out i said hello hello hello over and over to practice that ive-been-awake-for-hours-now voice then i answered "hello" and it was a recording! so i got out of bed and started my day. i cleaned the kitchen, that was my room for the day. i made a big, huge peanut butter cookie with the left over dough in the freezer. it was gooood.
and last thing that happened to me, also not note-worthy like the rest of this journal, i got soaked saving a plant.

omg i cant believe i almost forgot! i saw jg online yesterday, he got engaged! wow.
